Meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings
Beginner-friendly, all-levels yoga classes that help you connect to yourself, in a relaxed and grounded community space. We meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:15am-10:15am
Community Yoga is a fun and inclusive gathering for people of all ages and skill levels—beginners are welcome! Come move your body, connect to yourself, and meet some folks from the neighborhood!
St. James’ is pleased to partner with yoga instructor, Caitlyn Ference-Saunders, RYT-500 & TCTSY-F, to provide holistic, accessible yoga for the South Pasadena community. When you arrive, look for the sandwich board in our parking lot that directs you to the parish hall.
Please make sure to check-in at the reception table before class begins.
Yoga is a holistic practice originating in South Asia that combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation to promote balance, flexibility, and inner peace. It encourages a deeper connection between your body and mind and for many can foster a sense of calm and well-being. Suitable for all levels, yoga offers both physical and mental benefits, making it a transformative practice for overall health.
Wear comfortable clothes or workout clothes that you like to move in. All clothes are yoga clothes!
A yoga mat and water bottle. You might also like to bring some socks, a small towel, or an extra layer for mediation.
No matter who you are, you are welcome here. If you're brand new to yoga, or if you have an injury or a mobility limitation you're working with, please let the teacher know before class so they can offer suggestions or modifications. The first few times you try anything new can be challenging, but you can always choose to pause and take a break. We encourage you to listen to what you need and only do what feels right for you. All bodies, abilities, and capacities are welcomed and affirmed at St. James’.
