Seniors Ministry

SAGES ministry is for all seniors (55+) whether members of St. James’ or not. Our focus is on friendship and caring, providing opportunities to come together for personal and spiritual growth.

SAGES luncheons are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. Each luncheon features a program that focuses on topics of interest to seniors, such as spiritual growth, entertainment, education and current events.

Many have responded enthusiastically to this program at St. James’, remarking on how wonderful it is to have the opportunity to gather and to catch up on news and friendships. It also has been an important time to share news of members who have become ill or are facing difficult circumstances for which the support of a caring church community can make all the difference.
