Adolescence is a precarious stage of life. The programs for Youth at St. James’ aim to come alongside our young people; to share life with them; to provide caring adult relationships; and above all, to form them in Christ to be his disciples in the world.
6-12 graders meet each Sunday at 10:15 for Awaken, our liturgical service for youth. We spend time reading scripture, praying, and sharing with one another. The service uses music, film, and art to meet students where they are and bring the light of Jesus there. We rejoin the congregation for Communion. |
